I became interested in photography after I purchased a cheap camera for a holiday and fell in love with the technical aspect of photography.

I found it really easy to understand camera settings and how to use flash and became fascinated by the fact that I can create my own light and beautiful interesting photos in the process. Over time as I got better at lighting I became more interested in capturing human emotions rather than just creating beautiful photos and have been working on that ever since. I guess I'm looking for a connection just like the people in front of my camera.

Hand painted backdrops played an important role in my photography development ever since I started to focus more on human connection due to the mood they help create and the way I can use them for colour contrast and harmony. They help me focus the viewer's attention on the subject in front of the camera.
